Rule of Law Scholarship, Loyola University 2022-23

 

The Purpose of the Scholarship:

This scholarship is offered to both domestic and international students at Loyola University Chicago. Loyola University Chicago’s Rule of Law for Development program is eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship application deadline is on July 1st, 2022.

For those interested in working in the developing field of rule of law and development, Loyola University Chicago’s one-year Rule of Law for Development program will connect you to a global network of rule of law practitioners, instructors, and graduates. An optional immersion at Loyola University in Rome, Italy, completes our online master’s degree program for attorneys and other professions. PROLAW offers a number of scholarships to deserving students from all around the world who have excelled academically or professionally while also demonstrating a strong need for financial assistance. It is possible to pursue a graduate degree at Loyola University Chicago with the Loyola University Rule of Law Scholarship during the academic years 2022-2023.

Benefits of a Scholarship:

Those admitted to Loyola University Chicago’s Master of Laws (LLM) or Master of Jurisprudence (MJ) programs in Rule of Law for Development will get financial aid from the university.

In order to be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:

Master’s degree in Legal Studies: Rule of Law in Development

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or the foreign equivalent and a main law degree are required for applicants.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the rule of law and good governance through previous employment or volunteer activities.

An adequate command of the English language is required of all applicants.

Law for Development: MJ

An accredited bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required of all applicants.

Applicants must be able to show that they have at least two years of professional experience or are currently employed in a closely connected industry, or that they have academic and professional preparation that shows an interest in working in the rule of law.

Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English.
